- Soak rajma overnight Wash and cook in the pressure cooker with water and salt for 2 whistles.
- Grind all the spices in a mixer grinder to a fine paste.
- Pour oil in a pan. Put the paste and fry till the oil separates. Add Red chilli powder, coriander powder, chicken masala or curry powder, salt and turmeric powder.
- Transfer this to the pressure cooker and cook for one more whistle or till rajma(beans) is cooked soft. When the steam settles down remove the lid and check.
- Add garam masala powder and mix well. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve with rice or roti.
