Steps to make Peri Peri Shrimp with Spicy Rice:

  1. Boil the rice with some salt and keep it aside..
  2. In a mixing bowl add shrimp and mix with salt and pepper to taste, also add 1 tbsp peri Peri sauce and 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika powder and squeezed of lime juice. Coat well and leave it for 15 minutes..
  3. Heat a non-stick pan with 2 tbsp olive oil add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp turn golden. Don't over cook. Remove the shrimp into a plate and keep it aside..
  4. In the same pan add 1 tbsp more oil and chopped garlic and 1 dry red chili when they become golden in colour then add onion and green chillies in it and saute till they become translucent..
  5. Then add bell pepper some salt pepper and 1 tsp of smoked paprika powder. Toss it on high flame for 3-4 minutes..
  6. Now add the boiled rice and 2 tbsp peri peri peri sauce. Also add the shrimp mix well and toss it on high flame for more 3-4 minutes..
  7. Turn off the flame and serve it..
