Steps to make Rajma:
- Take rajma and soak in water for 5-6 hours or overnight. Wash is two three times before boiling.For Boiling rajma - Take cooker add the washed rajma and 2 glass water. add haldi powder 1 tbsp,salt 2 tbsp and soda 1 tbsp.close the lid and keep it on gas. Take 4 whistles on medium flame..
- Now take a pan.Add 2 tbsp oil. When hot add 1 tbsp jeera. Add ginger garlic and green chilli.mix for a while.Add onion,add 1/2 tbsp salt. and fry until onion is golden brown..
- Now add Tomato paste. Cook until it leaves oil. Add 4 tbsp rajma masala,1 tbsp amchur powder,1 tbsp red chilli powder.Mix well stir for 2-4 mins..
- Open the cooker.Check if the rajma is soft by pressing it.now add the masala to the cooker.mix well.add 1/2 tsp of garam masala. Cover with the lid Cook for 5-6 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with naan or rice..
