Steps to make Kadai Chicken:
- Heat a pan with ghee,Fry cubed onions and capsicum for 5 mins when they smell good,set them aside in a plate.
- Add 3tbsp oil and 1 teaspoon ghee then add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and 2 dry red chili.When the cumin and red chili begins to crackle add onions and ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappears..
- Add chicken and saute for 4 mins then add chili powder,tomato paste,karahi masala,Kashmiri red chili powder.stir and cook uncovered till the raw smell of tomato paste goes away.This takes around 5-6 mins on a low flame..
- Then cover and cook until the chicken is soft and fully cooked.Then add yoghurt mix and cook for 20mins..
- Then add fry cubes onions and capsicum,green chili mix and cook for 5-6 mins..
- Then add sprinkled crushed kasuri methi and karahi masala and cook for 5 mins.
- Garnish karahi chicken 2 green chili and red chili and onion cubes.
